Trained in Fine Art Painting at Nottingham Trent University and graduated in 1996.

In May 2003 Louise received funding from the Princes Trust to start up her own business producing hand-printed wallpaper.

She now has a collection of designs, most of which are now produced in small batch production and are hand-finished.

Louise Body is an acclaimed designer with an international following who first launched her collection at 100% Design London in 2003.
She has a collection of hand-printed cushions and contemporary wallpapers the latter forming part of the archive collection at the V&A museum London and can be seen on the walls of the Arts council England.

In 2008 Louise's designs will be making a transition into the fashion world with the launch of ‘Louise Body for Paul Smith' in Japan.
